About this Cook
I'm married have two grown sons and two grandsons. I enjoy cooking for my family and I love it when the boys come home for a home cooked meal.
My favorite things to cook
Lasagne, chicken spaghetti, mexican corn bread and cakes.
My cooking triumphs
The first time I made Lasagne for about 50 people I was scared to death it wouldn't be be as good as I told them it would be. Everyone loved it!
My cooking tragedies
I was making a pound cake it called for flour, I didn't know if it meant self-rising or all purpose. I used self-rising and the cake spilled all over the oven. If it hadn't of been such a mess it would have been really funny. We all got a great laugh out of it.

Southern Praline Pecan Cake
I've made this for my family and they think it's the best cake I have ever made for them. I was telling my niece about it and she said she couldn't wait to get home for me to make her one. So I made this cake for my niece and sent it to her in Iraq and she said it was wonderful. This is just the best cake it is so moist. So easy to make.
