Such a great recipe to use up all those extra apples that your trees showered you with. So wonderful to freeze and take out and use in cakes, pies and muffins.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Wonderful as is, but if I'm in the mood for a thicker gravy I omit the water and add another can of soup, and I add fresh mushrooms. We love mushrooms at our house and this is a great recipe.
