About this Cook
I am a female in my 50's. I have gone through times when I loved to cook, hated to cook, and back again.
My favorite things to cook
I love ethnic food and have been cooking Indian food recently. I love it. I love Thai food also but have not cooked it at home.
My cooking triumphs
Everyone loves my chicken and dumplings. I had people drive down from New Hampshire to where I lived in New York State with bags of chicken and carrots and celery and stood there in my doorway with big smiles on their faces.
My cooking tragedies
I have had three - First was my first meat loaf I ever made, I used so many bread crumbs it was terrible. My husband took it to his work and tried to feed it to the German Shepherd guard dog they had in the yard and the dog wouldn't eat it. Oops, out of space for the other two stories.

World's Best Lasagna
I have made this it is fantastic. I have one question though, directions do not say to drain the ground beef and sausage after cooking, are you supposed to? I have made it both ways, without draining is delicious but boy what heartburn later. When you drain the meat mixture there is no heartburn but not as tasty. Is it bad not to drain the meat before adding the sauces??

World's Best Pasta Sauce!
John Chandler's Lasagna is the World's Best! Ever since I have been making this, my husband wants me to make it once a week (I make it every other week)and he invites people over for dinner. I started doubling the recipe and save half for pasta sauce as it is as good for pasta sauce as it is for lasagna.
