About this Cook
Mother of two beautiful girls. My wonderful boyfriend also cooks (we fight over the kitchen). His specialties are Asian (esp Korean).
My favorite things to cook
Cheesecake, brownies, quick breads, lemon bars.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Holidays are very much a family affair. My mother's house is our gathering place. You will find my brothers and their families, my cousins and their families, my 2 uncles and my aunt, and of course my grandmother who is responsible for this whole clan.
My cooking triumphs
Mastering cheesecake with a great texture. I love creamy baked cheesecakes and my friends and family feel I have accomplished a great technique.
My cooking tragedies
I have a family of butterfingers (myself included). There is nothing worse than making a gorgeous dish and having someone drop it or stick a hand in it trying to save it!

Irish Cream Cheesecake
Very good. Nice and creamy. Used 1/2 cup Irish Cream and 2tbls less sour cream.
