About this Cook
A fulltime homemaker with 4 kids. Hubby initially wasn't a dessert fan but has begun to enjoy some of the recipes I tried from here. Kids are always excited whenever I visit this site.
My favorite things to cook
dessert, snacks, pasta
My cooking triumphs
When my daughter took the Dark Chocolate Cake II topped with Carol's Chocolate Cheese topping to school for her birthday. She was supposed to eat it with her classmates but the teacher smuggled whatever she can get her hands on back to the teacher's room.

Clark Gable Pancakes
I've had this recipe for so long and have been making these again and again but I always forgot to leave a comment. My family just love these pancakes. They are just so easy to make. These babies will turn out thick but fluffy.

Creme Brulee
Like CHEFPEON I too did this minus the double boiler step.... with 4 cups cream, 8eggs, 1/2 cup sugar and vanilla. Results were smooth and thick but light.

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
This cookie is truly amazing even though I changed all the ingredients in the title. My kids were asking for choc chip cookies but I wanted to try this recipe. So we compromised. Took out all the spices and raisins and used choc chips and milk chocolate chunks. Kept all the other ingredients the same. They were crunchy on the outside and soft insides and sweetness was just right. I made 41 big fat cookies and it took me about 15 minutes to cook. Thank you Beth for sharing.
