My favorite things to cook
Italian. My father has a wonderful lasagna recipe that is always a crowd pleaser and has been a favourite of mine since I was little. Also, I love spicy food, the spicier the better! Who doesn't love to barbecue? Fish is a favourite, especially salmon, halibut and my all time favourite TUNA! Of course, when I'm not up to cooking I can almost always be found at my favouruite Sushi restaurant or ordering in from them. ;)
My favorite family cooking traditions
Thanksgiving mashed potatoes. Every year my Grannie would come over and make her potatoes. It just wasn't thanksgiving with out them!

Avocado Feta Salsa
This is with out a doubt the BEST salsa I have ever tasted! It combines the two things I love most...feta cheese and avocados! It never occurred to me to blend the two together. Simply fantastic!! The few changes I made were: 4 avocados. Chopped fresh cilantro instead of parsley. 2-3 cloves minced fresh garlic. A splash of fresh lemon juice. A dash of fresh ground pepper and half a jalapeno pepper, finely chopped.

Dutch East Chicken Wings and Rice
Very delicious recipe! I used chicken drum sticks as I did not have any wings available and just plain white rice since I was out of Tumeric. Added some of the extra sauce to the rice. This dish was a hit in my family! Very flavourful and easy to prepare. Will definitely be making this one again.
