Once just after college for a pot luck I made sweet and sour crock pot beans. The shop had to be evacuated because of the "gas leak" smell. Turns out it was coming from my dish. The mistake that instead of putting in 3 cloves of garlic, I put in 3 bulbs of elephant garlic. Hey, I didn't know what a clove was, so I thought I'd just add all 3 bulbs of garlic. I quickly learned about garlic cloves from that experience.
