Balsamic Chicken and Pasta

Reviewed: May 22, 2009
This was great. I was bored and searched recipes that had Balsamic since we had some on hand. This is definitely my new favorite. Not too many ingredients, and tasted so good. I know this is a bit silly to say, but it even looked great. There are several recipes that I make that taste wonderful, but aren't impressive to look at. This will be something to serve for any night of the week or when we have friends over. I didn't change a thing either.

Lemon Icing

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2009
So great!! We made this with Lemon Cake and all four of us (no kids included) ate the icing with just a bit of cake. The icing was so good. Don't think we changed the recipe at all. It has been over a month, and we are still talking about it. Got some fresh lemons today, so I think I will be making again.

New Potatoes with Caper Sauce

Very good. I like capers apparently, because I added more. This is a nice side dish, especially if you are only serving one side with some steak or chicken.

Slow Cook Thai Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2009
This was good. I gave it four stars because it needs something to offset the sauce. Maybe some veggies or something. Either way, we still ate it two nights in a row, the leftovers were just as good at the first night.

This recipe is amazing. I am sure the butter really makes it stand out from other muffin recipes. Will make again.

Addictive Pumpkin Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2009
Super! Definitely glad I only used 1/2 the sugar like other reviews suggested. No other changes made. This recipe makes a lot, so be ready with some loaf pans or something. My 13 month old daughter loves it also as did the other kids in playgroup along with their mothers.

Potato Salmon Patties

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2008
Not that great to my husband and me. Really needs the dipping sauce to offset it. I went to the grocery store after I made them, just to get some sauce. I had never used canned salmon before and that was a pain, picking all the bones out. Then the whole house smelled like fried salmon. I was missing the celery salt, but that couldn't haven been what makes these taste so great.

Best Ziti Ever

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2008
Very good! I used Hot Turkey Sausage and used 1.5 lbs of it. My house almost always believes the meat should be doubled in recipes. I agree with another reviewer that you don't need to heat the marinara sauce. Also used the broiler for the last two minutes to give a great color.

Spicy Chipotle Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2008
Loved this. My husband liked it so much he wanted it again two nights later. I made them a little spicier the next night, and they were perfect. Super good. We even used the 99% fat free turkey and didn't taste like we were comprising in any way. This might be the end of red meat burgers in our house! Also, our grill is no longer with us so I cooked them on the stove with a large frying pan.

Baby Blue Punch

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2008
This was great and the guests for the party went through two batches of this. Our other drinks were untouched. We did NOT add any sugar, and used red kool-aid instead of blue since the party was honoring a baby girl. The punch tasted great without any sugar, and couldn't imagine needing any.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2008
Very good. This recipe was simple and the chicken turned out great. I used half the dough it calls for, and still had plenty to eat. Will definitely do this again, with some of the changes others have listed to cut the chicken flavor a bit.

Tangy Chicken Breasts

I liked this recipe. It tasted great and was so simple, but my husband didn't think too much of it. Maybe if we had grilled instead of using the broiler it might have been different. This recipe will be tried again.

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies I

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2008
Absolutely wonderful cookies. No changes needed. One time I didn't realize that I was out of chocolate chips until I was ready to add them, so I went without. My husband acted like I had broken some kind of law, but he still ate half the batch. I take these cookies over to friends houses and they request them over and over again.
