I am the director of a 501(c)3 organization, a canine rescue group. Dogs are my life - cooking comes in the top five, however. Southern favorites; comfort foods; quick and easy dishes, outdoor grilling, slow cooking recipes. Every Sunday having the entire family over for a get-together. Chicken fried steak, learning to grill/barbecue pretty dang well, anything that is simple, easy, help-yourself and buffet style. No fancy 5-course meals or sit-down dinners with my guests! We all have a party and help ourselves. Paper plates are the norm, and lots of good home cookin'. EEK!!! Too many to mention. I am not a gourmet cook by any means. I stick to the simple stuff. !!!
