Thanksgiving Dinner, a feast whether it's just the two of us or the kids and extended family, featuring turkey, stuffing and gravy, ham, collards, green beans, rice, potato salad, macaroni and cheese, candied sweets, cranberry sauce, blueberry muffins and sweet potato pie.
My cooking triumphs
One Thanksgiving, my daughter spilled her drink into my macaroni and cheese casserole. My cousin, who said she would have snapped, complimented me because I laughed about it, sent my daughter to the grocery store to get needed ingredients, and started all over. Being surrounded by family makes everything okay!
