About this Cook
I grew up in Milwaukee, WI working for my father who owns a small grocery store and catering company. I am now going to school at RIT in Rochester, NY and I still love cooking! Other than studying to become an engineer I sail, ski and cook.
My favorite things to cook
Tuna, Lamb, Tenderloin and Salmon
My favorite family cooking traditions
Cooking has always been a large part of my family, both of my parents work in the food industry and I grew up immersed in it. My family loves to throw dinner parties almost every week with friends and family and I plan on continuing that tradition when I have my own home and family.
My cooking triumphs
While I am a great cook on my own in the family kitchen, I truly excel when I'm cooking for large amounts of people. I grew up catering for my father and now I am one of his head chefs when I'm not away at school. On a weekly basis I cater weddings and backyard parties from 50 to 1000 guests.
My cooking tragedies
Too many to remember them all!! But that's how you learn ;)

Glazed Corned Beef
I usually just do my corned beef with dijon mustard but I wanted something new and different. This was really good! An excellent variation on the usual corned beef, this recipe is sweet but not to a fault. I served it with some sweet and sour cabbage and a nice hard roll of bread. Went perfect paired with a bock beer! Enjoy.

Grilled Swordfish with Rosemary
Marinade was simple and had good flavor. I think it should marinade a bit longer than 1 hour though. I served this with a bit of soy sauce all over cous cous. The meal was fantastic for the summer. Thanks!

Barbecue Ribs
Made for dinner with my roommate. We each finished a 2lb rack of ribs! We could not believe how tasty the bbq sauce was. We will make this again for sure, next time for more people!
