Beef Barley Vegetable Soup
This was very good. I changed a few things: I used venison steaks (backstraps) instead of the roast. I sauteed the veggies I used in butter before putting them in the crock pot. I also used a jar of salsa instead of the canned tomatoes, I added some diced tomatoes that I had frozen this summer. I also added some green peppers that I had frozed. I added some Thyme and Basil. I left out the frozen veggies called for.

Chocolate Brittle Surprise
Absolutely awesome. I used lowfat cinnamon graham crackers instead of the crackers that were called for - - I LOVED it! I omitted the nuts as I am not a fan. These taste like Heath or Toffee candy bars!

Meatball Sandwich
Great when used with venison!! I followed other recommendations and added an extra teaspoon of italian seasoning, and added an extra egg (venison is so lean and I find the extra egg gives it a little bit more moisture). I didn't have fresh parsley so only added 1 tsp. It really was very good - both my picky daughter and husband ate this!
