I'm from one little town in Chihuahua, Mexico, My mother use to bake us cakes everyday. I learned from her how to cook. I also learn that the most important ingredient on any meal is LOVE. This will make a big difference in anything you cook or do. God gave us food so we, mothers can pass his love to our husband and children.
My favorite things to cook
This is difficult to say. It depends on the seasson we are. But I think Thanksgiving and Christmas are my favorite two days to cook. Of course, as a Mexican, Tamales are the mos expected meal at Christmas.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Cooking Tamales for Christmas. a lot of cookies thru the year. And of course, a birthday Cake for each of the family members.
My cooking triumphs
The first year I baked a turkey by my self. I was almost 18 years ago. I was pregnant, I baked the turkey, made cookies and desserts. We have a greatg family reunion that thanksgiving. And the Monday after that, my baby born.
My cooking tragedies
Many to tell, LOL. I made fried potatoes’ patties, and my dog ate them all. When my husband returned home he laughed to death. The dog didn’t eat its food that day. I was not hungry at all after eating 20 patties
