Fettuccine Alfredo V
With so many rave reviews I thought this was a winner but, I didn't care for this alfredo recipe. It wasn't bad but is wasn't good. This recipe calls for too much garlic that I think overpowered the dish. Also, the amount of cheese was to much. The sauce never completely got smooth so there was a gritty texture with every bit. And yes I did use parmesean reggiano in the triangle form. Maybe I didn't cook it long enough but I could taste the egg in my sauce. I will not be making this again.

Basil Cream Chicken
This was a tasty variation to having chicken breasts. Although the sauce was too thin to my liking, next time I will add some flour to it. I didn't have fresh basil on hand, so I used dried basil and it turned out fine. I didn't add the pimento's (we don't care for them) and added some garlic powder and salt to taste which made the sauce even better.

Chicken Scampi II
I decided to make this recipe for dinner, being that it got high marks and good reviews. It was not very good, my husband didn't like it either. I did what other users mentioned: Cut the butter, oil and salt in half, doubled the lemon juice and added some chicken broth. I served it over penne pasta. The sauce was still too oily and too runny for the pasta. Although the chicken was very moist and tender it still tasted very bland. I will not be making this dish again.
