About this Cook
I love to bake and cook for my family and friends. I enjoy trying new recipes and Allrecipes.com is my favorite website. I am a wife and mom of 2 wonderful boys and a beautiful daughter in-law. WE also have 4 dogs and 2 cats and love them like they are our children.
My favorite things to cook
My favorite to do is baking. I love to try new things and put my own twist on them. We even make dog bones for the kids (dogs) and they love them. I love to cook Italian and my hubbie loves any dish with Sausage in it.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I have always been able to put my own twist on recipes and create some of my own. My mother was a stay at home mom and she was always baking and we could smell it when we were walking home from School. I love to cook for family as my mom did for us.
My cooking triumphs
I have really branched out to lots of different styles of cooking. I have also started to add more spice and heat to my menus. I feel quite comfortable cooking just about anything with the exception of Prime Rib which I have never tried yet as I am afraid to ruin it and I also like mine more on the well side and everyone tells me that it ruins it unless it is rare.....
My cooking tragedies
I have had the typical flour and powdered sugar blow ups in the mixer and burnt food...... I really don't remember a terrible tragedy.

Pesto Pasta with Chicken
This was fabulous and my Hubby made homemade pesto and I used the bulk sun dried tomatoes w/o oil and I julienned them. We really enjoyed this dish and will make it very often. Thank you for the recipe

Tomato, Basil, and Feta Salad
We had our friends come in from Boston and I made this salad just as the recipe calls and everyone loved it. Their daughter Urvi asked if she could have the rest as she just loved it. Thank you for a great tasting, easy to make salad.
