I am a working mom of two grown children, three if you count my husband. I love to cook and would do it as a vocation if I could. I come from a family of down home southern cooks that are all very talented. I'm a little more adventurous than they, but they can definately cook! I love to make Thanksgiving Dinner and Desserts. My two favs During the holidays, my family and I always make appetizers and snacks to eat while we decorate the tree and on Christmas Eve. We always have sausage puffs no matter what. We also have a staple list of Christmas cookies that I make. I am known for making the "best tiramisu ever" I used to make it for my boss, even though I was never really a big fan. Everyone raved and would put in their requests for it for their birthdays. I absolutely cannot make Stew Beef and Rice the way my mother in law makes it. I have tried every method imaginable and it's always nearly inedible.
