Chicken Katsu
Great recipe! Try serving on raw shredded cabbage, squeeze lemon and then drizzle the tonkatsu sauce on top. The flavors blend very well and it is refreshing! Over the counter, ready made tonkatsu sauce can be purchased at the local Japanese market, the brand is called Bulldog and very good/convenient. This homemade recipe for tonkatsu is excellent.

Tonkatsu / Katsu Sauce
Very good. For convenience, if you have a Japanese market by your house buy the ready made brand by Bulldog. Excellent.

Ashley's Chicken Katsu with Tonkatsu Sauce
You can vary this recipe by serving the chicken on top of shredded cabbage. Squeeze lemon on top and drizzle the tonkatsu sauce. I have a Japanese market by my house and there is a brand of ready made tonkatsu called Bulldog, it is really delicious. The tonkatsu, lemon, chicken and raw cabbage flavors blend deliciously. Great during the hot summer months!
