About this Cook
Hi, I'm 19 years old and a sophomore in college. I think I might be one of the few sophomores in my building who actually use the dorm kitchen. lol. I've also become very good at microwaved desserts, especially those ritz cracker cookies. Everyone loves those.
My favorite things to cook
I love to make desserts, since I have an unquenchable sweet tooth. I like to induldge at least once a week on an awesome homemade dessert. Besides these occasional treats, I'm a very healthy eater, and my new love is the slow cooker!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every year my sister and I create a gingerbread house. We've only had one complete disaster, while trying to make a gingerbread chapel. We've gotten pretty good at it now, and everytime we go to the store we think of new ways to use candy for the next time.
My cooking triumphs
The amish meatloaf that I made yesterday was a big hit. My family came home, fighting for the leftovers.
My cooking tragedies
Uh..there are too many to count.

Eclair Cake
I love this dessert! I can actually make it my dorm room if I want to, and I added it in a presentation I had to give for my computer class(I chose to make a slideshow of desserts you can make in the dorm room).

Monkey Bread I
This recipe was delicious. I don't know if I boiled the brown sugar syrup too long or not long enough because after it baked it looked like regular brown sugar..not very syrupy..lol. But it was still good.

White Chocolate Party Mix
I love this stuff. It's fun to make in the dorm too. I just melt the chocolate in the microwave, and mix everything in.
