YAY! What a great recipe. I used some suggested modifications (1 1/2 cup sugar, 9 ounces cream cheese, 3 1/2 cup flour) and they turned out super duper! My only complaint about these cookies is that they tasted so awesome that I ate too many while I was icing them and now I have a tummy ache :(

Holy Cats! This icing made my cookies look like rainbow sprinkled pieces of heaven! I added almost triple the milk to get the icing to the right consistancy. I added 4 teaspons of milk to get the icing sugar smooth before adding the corn syrup and almond extract - and then added another 2 teaspoons of milk to get an easily spreadable icing. I had enough icing for approximately 30 heart shaped cookies. It took about 2 hours for the icing to set so I could stack my cookies on top of each other. Definately will be using this icing again!

This icing is great if you need something that dries quickly so you can stack cookies on top of each other.
