My guy and I have been together for 10 years. We have 2 children. They love to help in the kitchen. Especially with cookies and cakes. For obvious reasons:) I worked in the Mattoon, IL Wal-mart bakery for 12 years. After that I worked at Rockome Gardens by Arcola, IL. Now, I'm getting ready to start a new job in a brand new, from scratch bakery right here in Mattoon. I'm really excited to get the opportunity to fill the Mattoon residents bellies with yummy bakery goodness. I love to bake. My favorite things are desserts, of course. Cookies, cakes, pies. I recently made cinnamon rolls. Very messy and very good. I also like to decorate cakes. I always enjoy boiling and decorating easter eggs with my kids. This last holiday season I made noodles from scratch. Pretty good, if I do say so myself. I think it will be a tradition. It is something my grandma alway did. The first time I made meatloaf I put way, way to many oats in it. It tasted like oatmeal loaf. I learned my lesson:)
