About this Cook
I'm a wife and mother of one picky toddler. I am a work-at-home mom, I guess, as my husband and I run a part-time business.
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake. I also love cooking anything that's better without a recipe (in my opinion) - i.e. chili, stir fry :)
My favorite family cooking traditions
We all get together at my mom's house the night before a big party to do all the cooking. It's such a fun time together!
My cooking triumphs
Sometimes, I make a new pasta that I've just thrown together, and it comes out so good that my husband tells me to make sure I write down what I did. (Often hard to duplicate, though.) :)
My cooking tragedies
Sometimes, my throw-togethers DON'T come out so good. :(

Butternut Squash Fries
VERY tasty! I dipped them in sour cream, which complemented the sweet flavor of the squash nicely. This is a really fun concept, and I think that I will try it with other types of squash too. Thanks for a great recipe! :)

Best Butternut Squash Soup Ever
AMAZING! I felt like I couldn't get it into my mouth fast enough! I used the other half of the squash to make fries, and served those together with grilled cheese. The BEST lunch I've had in a long time!

Cabbage Rolls II
Fabulous recipe. Delicious, and so simple to make. Just like mom used to make! :)
