About this Cook
I love to ski, snow mobile, fish, kyak, and go bowling. Love the snow as much as the sand and beach! Baking is more of my forte, then cooking. Love to find an unusual recipe that matches well with the people I am baking/cooking for. Sometimes I think that is half the battle of being a sucess at entertaining and cooking. The other half is trying not to burn the cr*p out of something you are making !! Only kidding!! LOL .. Presentation and food that tastes good is the other half. I work full time with my husband at our plumbing and heating company (so 40 hrs turns to 50 turns to 55+a week!!) So that leaves very little time for cooking. I try to prepare and cook in advance alot, with menus and shopping lists that I do in advance. I also rely on home deliveries from my local supermarket. (it's worth the six bucks delivery charge!!)
My cooking tragedies
Some hot dog casserole dish I made as a newlywed 23 years ago!! We still laugh about it!!

Super-Delicious Zuppa Toscana
I ran out of red pepper flakes and used turkey sausage. So my review reflects those minor changes. My family and myself did not care for this soup. All the ingredients together sound good on paper but for us it didn't carry through.

Clark's Quiche
I was able to make 3 deep dish quiches from this recipe! Alot of flavors going on so it is sure to please the masses. I think I would make this one again, especially if I had to make a few at a time or just put in a pyrex pan without the crust and bake as a breakfast casserole.

Quiche Seville
It is an easy quiche and was eaten in its entirety by the family How ever I thought it was too salty from the onions. I don't think I will make again for the reason there just are too many quiche recipes out there to try and this one just wasn't a personal favorite.
