Anise Biscotti
Didn't have brandy, so I decided to go the orange and almond route. Used 1 tsp. vanilla, and 1 1/2 tsp. good almond extract instead of anise. In place of the anise seed, I had an abundance of clemintines, so I grated a tbsp. of the rind, and then used the juice in place of the brandy...Very good...

Cranberry Sauce I
I have used a recipe like this for a few years and it is quite tasty. You can also add a splash of red wine to this to give an extra zip. The alcohal cooks off, and gives a great flavor.

Almond Biscotti
Had not make biscotti in quite awhile-thse were the best. My better half said he was not really impressed with biscotti until I made these. I added walmuts along with the almond extract, and they are something I will make often, not just for the holidays. Thanks Mrs.M---M McGonigle
