Basic British Scones
Very good, basic scone recipe. I won't use baking paper again though---all my gorgeous scones were completely stuck! Next time I'll butter the sheet instead. We ate these "Devonshire style", with freshly whipped cream & strawberry jam. Delicious!

Seven-Minute Pudding
Better than any custard from a box, jug, or tin by far! It really does remind me of something Dutchy from my childhood. And it's so incredibly easy in the microwave. Perfect with hot apple pie!

MMMMM... Brownies
I love, love, LOVE this brownie recipe! It seems impossible to flub, and even when I have chosen to underbake them they're still delicious. My oven takes only about 20 minutes, but possibly because I don't allow the chocolate mixture to cool very much. Especially enjoy this with a dollop of freshly whipped cream and a dribble of raspberry sauce---yum!
