I will always make my roasted chicken this way from now on. I told my Mom about it and she said she used to make this all the time. Why I do not remember, I have no idea!! I used chicken broth instead and made a delicious gravy for our masheded potatoes. I took some of the great advice and put some of the crispy bacon in the potatoes too1

This was a very good cake. I had to use white cake mix but I like the way it looked! Also only used the 2 cups of water. There are so many different ways you could make this cake. Next Time I'm going to do a lemon cake with maybe a lime or orange jello. Thanks for the recipe!!!

I made this recipe as is and it was great! But this morning to make this recipe a bit more interesting I first spead a layer of store bought pesto then the sausage and then a small amount of finely shredded mozerella cheese and WOW did they come out good! Great for an appetizer too!
