I am recently married and I love cooking for my new husband when time allows it (I am in school full time and work full time, so gourmet meals aren't always possible).
My favorite things to cook
I LOVE to cook Mexcian and Italian foods as well as baking (pies, cookies, breads...) and making fun desserts and drinks.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family (both sides) is full of avid hunters so family cooking traditions are generally fresh game (venison, turkey, rabbit...). I can't say all these things are favorites, but I can respect them for eating off their land.
My cooking triumphs
I can't think of a particular cooking triumph...all cooking experiences when I make something I am not use to is a triumph. I did recently master the art of making flan!
My cooking tragedies
I don't really have cooking tragedies...but my darling husband had one when he tried to make a sausage pasta dish...it was just wrong...nobody ate it! I felt bad and have since showed him the error of his ways with that particular recipe!
