I am 24 y/o and engaged to a wonderful man. I work as a paralegal for a local defense firm and am also enrolled in paralegal and criminal justice courses. I was born and raised in Beaufort, SC, and I can't imagine ever leaving. I graduated from the University of South Carolina in May 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and writing. Pasta, pasta, and more pasta! I take after my mom, in that pasta is basically all I can cook (besides a mean grilled cheese sandwich! lol). I eat pasta just about every day and have never grown tired of it. The pasta! My mom makes her spaghetti sauce (meatless for me, since I'm the only vegetarian in the family), from scratch, a recipe that dates back two or three generations. My dad should have his own cooking show. He was born and raised in Biloxi, Mississippi, so he knows how to cook up some good ol' Southern grub. He also experiments a lot with color and texture; he makes cooking fun rather than a chore, so I'm trying to follow in his footsteps. Cooking my own pasta from start to finish! lol I'm a beginner. My fiance is teaching me as best he can, and he even bought me my own Betty Crocker cookbook. None yet! *knock on wood*
