Frosted Banana Bars

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2009
Excellent! I can't stop eating them. My husband suggested nuts in the bars or on top of the frosting, but I liked them plain just fine! I did use lowfat, plain yogurt instead of sour cream and they are moist and delicious.

Beefy Baked Ravioli

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2008
Really good. I only had canned tomatoes with green chilis and just a little bit of mozerlla which I made up for by using cheddar. Still tasted great, and I think I even liked the little bite the tomatoes gave the sauce.

Grilled Chicken Thighs Tandoori

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2008
I think this has defenite potential to be a 5 star. I used chicken breasts and marinated them for 4 hours or so. I used our George Foreman grill and they turned out moist and yummy. I accidentally went a little heavy on the cloves, so that flavor ended up being a little strong. You can tweak the spice amounts to suit your taste. I din't wipe any of the sauce off before grilling. Very tasty.

All I can say is "Double the recipe"! Fantastic and I'm so sad I only made 12 muffins.

Delicious Pumpkin Bread

Great recipe. Makes ALOT! I ran out of vegetable oil, so I replaced w/1/2 c peanut oil and 1/2 c applesauce. Added pecans and it turned out wonderfully. Big hit at the office. Descriptions were "moist", "not too sweet" and "yum"!

Cheese Dipping Sauce

I love simple recipes that use ingredients that I have on hand and that taste great and this one hits the mark. Super simple, easy and delicious. Used over veggies, and then dipped some chips in what I had left.

Roasted New Potato Salad With Olives

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2008
I really like this salad. A nice alternative to the traditional cream based potato salad. My husband however, did not like it, but I think if I'd called it something other than "potato salad" he would have been OK. He's not too flexible with variations on classics. I would recommend it highly for anyone not too set in their ways!

Chili Dog Casserole I

Made as is, I'd give this 4 stars. I made this with a cornbread top as suggested by others, but for me it was a big mistake. I didn't like the flavor at all.

Good stew recipe. I added the mustard as directed and the flavor was very strong (almost too strong), but it had mellowed considerably the next day.

A great margarita recipe. I haven't made them yet, but had some at a party and they were delicious. Made with 7-up instead of the water, and Corona for the beer. Tasty!

My grandmother made a recipe very similiar to this, although she used a can of condensed tomato soup/can water instead of the tomato juice. And no carrots, but I'm sure they'd be good too.

Spicy Beef Curry Stew for the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2008
My husband and I LOVED this stew. Delicious! Really adds something special and different to stew. I made it pretty much as directed with a few changes, no jalepeno, ground ginger rather than fresh, tomatoes w/green chiles and onions, a sprinkle of cinnamon and a pinch of tumeric. I also added carrots. So yummy!

This recipe was so easy and delicious. Super moist chicken. I used the Italian breadcrumbs and added some Parmesean cheese. My four year old loves to help cook and this was a fun one for her.
