Sticks and Stones Candy Bark

This was really good but really rich. I used all the called for ingredients but added more chocolate chips and used craisins instead of chocolate covered raisins. It was a big hit. I layed it out on a jelly roll pan instead of a 9x13 which worked great. Easy to get in and out. I also threw in some mini marshmallows because i had them. I may throw in coconut another time. All in all, great recipe. I will make it again!

Double Chocolate Mocha Trifle

I made this for a co workers birthday and it was a huge hit! I had two servings!! I used Gihradelli brownies (two packages but could have used just one) and three packages of white chocolate pudding. I didn't have any instant coffee so I used instant espresso and it was just as good. I also used Toblerone chocoate instead of toffey and it was really tasty. It made a ton but went fast. I would definalty make this again. Oh- and I used more milk than the recipe called for!

Two Tier Strawberry Pie

I was looking for something that was like cheesecake without having to make a cheesecake. I just didn't have time to get it done. This was perfect. The longet part of the prep was the time it took me to cut up the strawberries. I made the first layer the night before as well as the cornstarch/grenadine mixutre. I chilled them both overnight and then mixed the strawberries and grenadine together in the morning topped the pie with them. I brought it to work for a coworkers birthday and it was a hit. Everyone really enjoyed it! I also used a graham cracker crust and would do so again!

Almost Caramel de Lite Bars

I thought that these were really good in flavor. You really do need to wait until they cool completely (like a couple of hours) before you try to cut them or they will fall apart. The one problem that I did have was that they seemed to be too much for the size of the pan. When they were cooking it all boiled over and made a gigantic, burned marshmallow mess in the oven. I might try to make them in a 9x13 next time. All in all the flavor is good and I do think tastes like a Caramel de Lite Bar

Spanish Rice Bake

This was really good although a tad too sweet. I may also omit the brown sugar. I used a whole onion and green pepper for a little extra veg. and it was good. I think this makes more than four servings. It is great left over as a lunch! I will make it again! I may add something (chili powder, red pepper flake) for some kick.

Bird Seed Energy Bars

These are really tasty and hearty. I think I should have cooked them a few minutes longer but they still taste good. I left a few out but froze the rest to be enjouyed later. I did not have sunflower seeds and used flaxseed meal instead of hte whole seed. I also followed other reccomdendations and used half apple sauce, half oil. I will totally make these again instead of buying bars.

Greek Lazy Lasagna

This was tasty with a good combination of Greeek flavors but lacked a chohesive sauce or binder that I associated with Lasagna. I would have served it more as a sauted dish than a baked dish. I cooked thec chicke first and then de glazed the pan before adding the onions/garlic, etc. I also added a can of artichoke hearts which was a nice addition. It made alot and will have plenty of left overs which is good. I don't know if I will make this again though.

Buffalo Chicken Chili

This was a good chili but I would not call it buffalo chicken chili. It did not have a distinctly buffalo flavor to me at all. It was a good recipe, a healthy alternative to chili with red meat.. I will probably make it again... It has been good as left overs. Not buffalo though...

Banana Sour Cream Bread

This is really good bread and a great use for slighly old bananas. I cut the recipe in half but used two eggs and a stick of butter (slightly more than is called for). I can't stop eating it!! I would highly reccomend this recipe. I did have to turn the oven up at the end though. After 45 mintues at 300 the middle was far from cooked. Up to 350 for the last fiftenn solved that...

Playgroup Granola Bars

This came together really quickly which I like. I skipped the raisins but added craisins and white chocolate chips. I think you can easily make alot of variations which I like. I ate one for breakfast today and it kept me full for a few hours which was great. My boyfriend keeps calling them cookies becuase they are such a treat.

Italian Sausage Soup

I skipped the beans and spinach and added tortelini- Pretty much I combined this recipe with Tortelini Sausage SoupI from this website and it was excellent. We ate it all week and loved it. This is great for a cold New England night...

Italian Sausage Soup with Tortellini

I made this soup almost to the recipe. I used canned tomatoes instead of fresh and ommitted the basil (I did not have any) and added a chopped fresh carrot. We at it for dinner all week and loved it. Also, I used chicken broth instead of beef. Really good recipe!!

Avocado and Tuna Tapas

These were pretty good. I liked the texture of the avocado with the tuna. I also really liked the flavor of the tuna... We ate it on a bed of lettuce... I would try this again.

These are a hit every time I make them. They take a little bit of patience.. I suggest mixing half of the cereal with half of the sugar at a time. They are addictive!

White Chocolate Snack Mix

I found this a little challenging to mix up and pour out. I used a few cookies sheets. It did not look pretty when all was said and done but it made a ton and people seemed to really enjoy it. I don't think I will make this again though..

Hot Fudge Ice Cream Bar Dessert

I made this for a coworkers birthday today. The ice cream sandwiches I used were small so it took more than the recipe called for. I also used Dove dark chocolate hot fudge with a little chocolate syrup to thin it out. I chopped peanut butter cups for the top and it was a huge hit. It feeds a lot of people and really only took fifteen minutes to make, including clean up time. Very kid friendly recipe too! This is something they could really help with!

Addictive Sweet Potato Burritos

I love a good burrito and am always looking for a new variation but this recipe really did not do it for me. The flavors just did not mesh well together at all. Sweet potatoes do not go with savory black beans and cheese. I did like the black bean part of hte recipe though and will use that again in other burritos.

Classic Macaroni Salad

I made this for a friends cookout and it was a hit. The mustard adds something intersting to the recipe. It whipped up in no time at all. Due to some dietary restrictions I did not add some of the ingredietns (peppers, etc) and threw in some of my own. It was even better a few days later!

Satiny Chocolate Glaze

Really easy to make. I doubled it (had a little too much) and poured it over Too Much Chocolate Cake. I would highly reccomend both! Enjoy!
