Bread Pudding III

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2009
My family loved this. It's great!! I made it with leftover hamburger and hot dog buns instead of bread slices. I used five buns instead of 10 slices of bread. I also let it sit for about 10 minutes after I poured the milk mixture over the bread cubes.

Beer Butt Chicken

My family loves this using the method of baking in the oven at 350. I have found one little trick which makes it even easier. Open the can of beer with a can opener. Pour out half of the beer. Put in the stick of butter unmelted and paprika and garlic salt. Much easier than trying to pour melted butter, paprika and garlic salt into the small opening at the top of the can.

Very Good. I used half the amount of sugar and added about a tablespoon of lemon juice.

Basic Chicken Stock

This recipe is great, except for the cloves. They give a weird taste to the broth. I have made it several times substituting peppercorns for the cloves. Then it is a lovely clear broth great for soups.
