Wow, very yummy! I was about to make a tuna fish sandwich and decided to check this site first for a unique recipe, This one seemed easy enough it was too! I cut serving size down to 2 and used a 5 oz can of tuna, came out perfect!

Chocolate Scotcheroos

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2009
I made these for a bake sell, and people kept buying more and ranting and raving about them. I did what one reviewer suggested and used 1 1/2 c. of peanut butter, and doubled the chocolate, so a full bag of semi sweet and a full bag of butterscotch chips. Only thing is if your a new cook like me, I had no idea chocolate burns in the microwave, i stuck it in the first time for 5 minutes it wasn't melted put another 5 min on it and it burned, i'd do 5 min, then check it every minute, or just use a sauce pan. Also something I may try with this later on is instead of butterscotch chips, get a bag of andes mint pieces u can find in the baking section, and add a bag of those with the semi sweet choc chips, for a mint chocolate peanut butter treat!

Creamy Chicken Peanut Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2009
This is one of my favorite soups. Perfect flavor, very smooth. I used one full 16 oz can of extra cruncy peanut butter, 3 t. of curry powder, and cut up some precooked Tyson grilled chicken strips that you can get out of the meat section from your grocer. Feel free to double the curry if you like a stronger curry taste. I also added 1 can of coconut milk instead of the cream. Anyways with those changes the soup is definitely a 5 star recipe and makes a very tasty meal.

Terry's Texas Pinto Beans

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2009
I gave this 4 star, but 5 star on following modifications. I'd stick with normal chicken broth. Was not salty enough, was lacking flavor, but adding regular chicken broth and some garlic powder about a t. brang out the flavors and really tickled the taste buds. I was scared to add garlic powder at first cuz was figuring with the low sodium chicken broth was low sodium for a reason, and it would make it too salty, but honestly not sure why it's low sodium, a little more saltiness is the final touch in this pinto bean recipe.

Easy Chicken Curry

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2009
One of the reviewers is right, something has to be missing, I was gonna cook it as is, i started to and you cant, the sauteed onions with curry dries up fast, had to add water, or broth or something. Even after adding chicken broth, it was still pretty bland. We had to add plenty of soy sauce on the rice and butter and other seasonings to make it have some sort of flavor to it.

Blender Hollandaise Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2009
I really can't put a star value on this yet,cuz I made this to what a user said and it turned out way to lemony. I'll put 5 though for great consistency and easiness. Anyways, Do not listen to the reviews to double the lemon, I did and I could barely put it in my mouth, and I love lemon! As for the consistency it turned out great and I just put the ingredients in my magic bullet, mixed, nuked the butter in microwave poured it in the bullet, mixed again, warmed it up for about 15 seconds in microwave and it was fine.

Classic Campbelled Eggs

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2009
These are freaking AMAZING! I made some changes, but do it this way and you won't regret it! After mixing the eggs with the condensed soup, add a pinch of pepper and 1 t. of curry powder and 1/2 c. of cheddar cheese, mix till smooth. Leave off the curry if you don't like curry, but trust me it makes the eggs. Heat on medium till thick but still creamy, these will seem really creamy compared to normal scrambled eggs, their suppose to look that way, their done. I added probably another 1/4c. of cheese on top and mixed it in when it was done to get the cheesy effect. These are the best scrambled eggs I've ever made, i will not make them any other way from now on!

Simple Sloppy Joes

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2009
I think this is the first recipe on this site i've really been dissapointed in. This did not have a good flavor, very VERY dry! I think no name sloppy joe canned mix would taste better then this, will not try again. I don't think most the people that commented on here have not had a real sloppy joe before, if this is the best tasting recipe you've had. I got really excited of all the positive reviews, to be left stunned when my taste buds were so let down! EDIT: i bumped this up to a 3 from a one cuz my dad and sister just finished eating it outside and loved it, maybe I just dont' have the taste for this, but if they like it it can't be that bad.

Golden State Mushroom Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2009
Wow this is pretty amazing! Really hit the spot on a quiet Sunday afternoon. Don't let the runniness of the soup fool you when your cooking, even when I poured it into my bowl it was still pretty runny for a cream soup, but it was actually perfect for the taste, I wouldn't thicken it up anymore. Really fast and easy recipe, and very flavorful!

Mayonnaise Biscuits

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2009
These are awesome!! I've never ever had a drop biscuit recipe turn out so light and flakey their always hard or flat. I took the tip from redneck girl on here and cooked them in muffin tins, I think that really makes a huge difference with them rising up compared to just dropping them on a cookie sheet. I have no idea what the other reviewers were saying the biscuit tasted like flour, Tasting the biscuit plain even licking some of the dough off the spoon was the best tasting dough/biscuit i've had! I'm guessing they've never made biscuit dough before and kept adding flower till the dough was non sticky and they kneaded it which made it hard. you wanna BARELY mix the ingredients together then spoon the mix into muffin tins, that's the key to the soft flakey biscuit! Also people don't have self rising flour, and try adding baking soda and stuff and it still doesn't work. Just go buy the self rising flour, it's 2.99 for a huge bag, and it worked PERFECT! And trust me you'll use it alot after you tastes these biscuits. I made these with biscuits and gravy. YUM! I'll make this for a side too with dinner the biscuit was great, I'll try the other suggestions and add cheese and butter and other ideas, I'm gonna make this alot! WOW what a wonderful tasty biscuit!!!

Super Sausage Gravy

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2009
I gave this a 2 star because it's absolutely bland without the salt and pepper, all this recipe is is thickener, but once you stick in about 1 1/2 t. of salt and 1/4 of t. of black pepper it's pretty good, i made with the mayonnaise biscuit recipe on here and they are to die for!

Best Ever Jalapeno Poppers

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2009
Do these just like told, make sure like others say you double coat them made the outside of the popper perfect, these tasted so fresh, loved them! I also boiled them after I gutted the peppers in boiling water for a couple minutes, everyone at my party LOVED them, VERY time consuming though, will only do these on very special occasions.

Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms II

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2009
I doubled this recipe cuz it's sooo good! You have to make these changes though, it makes them amazing! Add about 4 cloves of garlic if you double it, 1 bunch of chopped green onion, and you MUST add about 3/4th of the chopped stems if you love a JUICY mushroom, if not this recipe tends to be too dry. Then top each one off with some mozzarella cheese! It makes ALOT of filling if you do it that way, so you may want to buy extra mushrooms. About 5 pre-packaged medium-large mushrooms does the trick. I also did not broil them, I just preheated the oven to 350 and it took around 10 minutes, I put the cookie sheet of them on the middle tray or even 2nd to bottoms so the bottoms are cooked well, once you see some juices run and the bottoms are soft their ready to eat!

Aunt Jewel's Chicken Dressing Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2008
Something was missing, Kinda just average tasting, kinda bland I dunno what it was something was just missing. Also for time this took, and cost of ingredients, definitely not worth it! I have gotten comments every night on recipes I've made here, this is the first one where they ate it but no great comments, said it was ok to be nice... Chicken mixed with homemade stuffing with gravy poured on top tastes alot better then this. Will not make again.

Chicken in Mushroom Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2008
This is really good! I grilled the chicken in season all season salt, pepper, and garlic salt, those flavors really mixed well into the sauce. Also I cooked it in a tablespoon fat free butter spray, instead of the Vegetable oil, cut down alot on the fat. Saving fat from that I added some cheese on top of the chicken and sauce then covered for it to cook, or be super healthy and leave it off, it's still low fat with the cheese and super delicious!

Easy Turkey Gravy

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2008
This is a really good gravy, fast and easy, and I had all the ingredients for it already. I did the recipe exactly how it was written, It was the perfect thickness, so I wouldn't recommend the cornstarch and extra flour like some reviewers did. Next time I think i'll put in half of the poultry seasoning it calls for it was a little overpowering. I also cut this in half which is 14 servings, but in reality halving this recipe perfectly served enough gravy for four of us.

Slow Cooker Marmalade Curry Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2008
This is pretty good, a little to orange peely for me though, I didn't get to try the can of coconut milk because I forgot to get it at the store, maybe that takes it away and evens out the flavors cuz the orange over peels over power it, i'll make again though cuz my sister and dad loved it. I probably will try halving the marmelade though
