This recipe is good but I took the advice of a fellow reader and started using crouton's in the casserole and that has made a BIG flavor difference. I also use Hot Sausage for an extra kick. The dry mustard for me adds a lot of flavor so I make sure to add that in! We top ours with fresh chopped scallions and bacon and it is delicious!

I've never had a fresh pumpkin pie recipe until I tried this one.. WOW is that good! I won't go back to canned pumpkin pie! I did alter the spices to my taste, so before you bake it you may want to taste it. You can't go back once you bake it! I also pureed the pumpkin and froze it. It was a nice treat again this spring when pumpkins were out of season! Thank you for putting the recipe out there!

This is the top homemade fruit salad. I have got bored with the boring fruit juice fruit salads that are the same every time. This salad with the Peach Pie filling is an unexpected delight. The presentation and taste are spectacular! Everyone always asks what is holding all the flavors together and no one believes me when I say peach pie filling! Thanks Pattie for putting it out there for everyone!
