About this Cook
I took a year off work a couple years ago to stay at home with my son while he started school, that is when I discovered my love for cooking. Now that I am working full time, it is a bit more challenging to make great meals every night but somehow I manage to get enough energy when I get home to make excellent meals with the help of this website!
My favorite things to cook
My number 1 would be Mexican food....I never get sick of it. My 7 year old isn't a huge fan though. I love using the slow-cooker, always looking for new things to throw in there!
My cooking triumphs
Whenever I bake is a triumph. I don't have much of a sweet tooth so don't bake very much...When I do, the family is always happy!
My cooking tragedies
I am such a dork, I read the recipes line by line and use exact measurements for everything, luckily I haven't had any tragedies! (Yet)

Mushroom Pie
MMMMMMMM!!! This recipe is great! Very filling and heavy but just so tasty! I have made this twice. The second time I didn't have fresh dill so I used dry dill from the bottle, it tasted good this way also. Great dish!

BLT Pizza
Some people think the idea of a BLT Pizza is a little odd, but once they taste it, their opinion usually changes! I tried my first BLT Pizza at CPK and was thrilled at the idea of making my own at home. This is a great recipe and tastes just like the CPK pizza! Thanks!
