About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
I love to try new things all the time so I'm down for anything.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Spices. Everything has to have lots of flavor. I come from the south and we like it hot and bold.
My cooking tragedies
I try new recipes all the time. I was invited to my new boyfriends house and decided I was going to cook a new recipe that I stumbled upon. It took for ever to prepare and we were both very hungry. Finally it was done and I set the table and fixed our plates. We sat down and began to eat. We both stopped eating and looked at each other, it was horrible. I took our plates and threw the food away and said well it looks like were gonna have sushi instead.

Morning Glory Muffins I
A friend brought me a muffin while at work and a week went by and I kept thinking about how good it was. I later asked her for the recipe and here it is! They are very good! She cheated and put chocolate chips in them.

Easy Chicken Enchiladas
Excellent. This recipe taste like one of my Latino friends made it. We were very pleased with this recipe. Very simple to make. I too substituted green enchilada sauce for the salsa. I added green chilies to the mix to add a little kick. I was a little skeptical about using the cream cheese but i am sure glad I did. There weren't any left overs afterwards.

N'Awlins Stuffed Bell Peppers
Thanks for adding this recipe. I too am from New Orleans and was in search of a Stuffed Bell Pepper recipe and this one popped up. I made it and it so reminds me of home. Instead of halving the peppers I kept them whole and it made 6 portions instead of 12.
