About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake! I bake anything and everything and love to constantly try new recipes. I also enjoy making candies and brittles.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mother's peanut brittle.
My cooking tragedies
Burning my hand on above mentioned peanut brittle. It only takes one time before you learn from that lesson!

Cocktail Meatballs I
These were great! I had a similar recipe at a our annual cocktail party that another guest always brought and I wanted to recreate it. This did the job! I didn't make the meatballs from scratch, but just mixed the jelly and chili sauce together with frozen 'homestyle' meatballs. Everyone at my holiday party was raving over it!

Gluehwein
I'm rating this from a POV of someone who hasn't had Gluehwein before but was looking for a good mulled wine for a holiday party. Overall it was good but the general concensus was that it was too sweet, so we added another half bottle of merlot. I would probably make it again with the initial 1 and a half bottles of merlot.

Matty's Brie Cheese Fondue
This was delicious! Next time I'm going to double the recipe... it was one of the first things gone at my holiday party. I didn't even get to the nutmeg as everyone had started eating it without it.
