Apple Pie III
This was definitely not a keeper recipe. The pastry was way too dry, as was the filling. I thought it would be wonderful, since that's how it smelled while cooking. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough milk in the house to wash it down with. I guess I'll keep looking for a great apple pie recipe.

Beer-Batter Onion Rings
I didn't like this recipe at all. The batter came out more like a dough so I had to add way more beer. I guess I'll keep looking for a beer batter for onion rings.

Strawberry Pie II
Simple to make with a pre-made crust and it's got a wonderful taste!. I used the 3/4 cups of sugar and it was perfect. Everyone raved about it, with people being quite upset that I hadn't made 2 (for seconds!) This will definately be one of my favorite summer desserts!
