My favorite things to cook
I love baking, my kids will eat just about anything I put in the oven so that is a big bonus! I also enjoy the slow cooker, my crock pot is a blessing. I recommend slow cooking for anyone who has a busy schedule like our family.
My cooking tragedies
meatloaf. I have tried several recipes and all of them were awful! Burnt outside and raw inside.

Gnocchi Bake
This was awesome! The sausage was a perfect addition. I was worried about my kids because they had never had gnocchi before but they LOVED it too!

Robin's Best Ever Hummus
This was too sweet for us and not garlicky enough.

Extra Easy Hummus
We wanted to make a more orginal version of hummus, but didn't have any tahini on hand so I tried this. I read the reviews first and not being a huge fan of cumin I substituded 1 of the tsp cumin for paprika. I also added a shot of lemon and more garlic (since we are addicted). I am so happy to have found this recipe! Never again will I save money to buy the expensive prepared vesion.
