I baked this pie and it wasn't quite the recipe I was looking for.. but that's not the recipes' fault. It was however super sweet. A good pie, but would cut the sugar a little next time.

I used all butter as most suggested & added the sugar 1st only 2 cups & then 1 cup at a time from there (as also suggested)... but found that I liked it best w/ all 4 cups. I made cupcakes for an event... and they all were among the 1st to get got gone…. everyone wanted to know…. who made them and how was the icing made.
