Bean Soup

Today I made bean soup with some dried great northern beans. I added in a big ham bone with some meat on, liquid smoke, bay leaves, onions, onion powder, garlic powder, sea salt, and vegetable stock. When it had about an hour left to cook I took out some of the vegetable stock and cooked some brown rice and added it into the soup after the rice was tender and let it finish cooking down. It was good with oyster crackers.
