I'm a newlywed who's found herself in her own kitchen after many years of enjoying her parents' cooking. I like trying new things, as long as none of the ingredients are on the dislikes list. And let me tell you, that list is long and still growing. I don't think I have any. Unfortunately, as an only child and grandchild, I was kept out of the kitchen. I do recall my grandmother making pasta but that's about it. I've survived two months of marriage and cooking. Every day is a triumph. A while ago I tried to make scotch bread and it turned out completely inedible. I still don't know why.
