I am a single mom of two great kids. I look for lots of different things to cook and feed to my 'guienea pigs', also known as my kids! LOL

I am up for anything. I want to get better at baking as that is my biggest weakness.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Cabbage rolls and potato salad at Christmas. As hard as I try, I can't get it like mom's.

Homestyle Beef, Macaroni and Cheese
My two children and I loved this meal in a pan. I did add some taco seasoning as my children love Mexican food. It was great! Definately a keeper.

Primavera Noodles
I have my family over once a month for a meal. I made this as I had run out of time for the original plan. It turned out great. I used Litehouse Homestyle Ranch Dressing...unbelievable. My sister did not believe how easy it was..she thought I was holding out on her :) Will difinately make again

Johnny Cake
My mom used to make Johnny Cake when I was a kid. I was craving some comfort food the other day and thought of this. I couldn't find my mom's recipe so I used this one. Don't tell mom but I think this one is better. It is light, tastey and absolutely wonderful warm with real maple syrup.
