White Chocolate Covered Pretzels

Super easy & yummy - I will do these every Christmas b/c they are fast and a big hit. Used almond bark, but will also probably use chocolate.

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

These taste like the holidays! DO NOT smash these down unless you have refrigerated the dough for a looong time and it is really stiff. I did and my dough was too soft - disaster!

Although I am only giving this 3 stars, it is okay, just not as special as many of the 4 star recipes I have made. I like that I can make this pretty much any time b/c I usually have all the ingredients and it seems pretty healthy unlike many of the chicken recipes you come across that have loads of cheese and creamed soup in them.

Pizza Dough I

If you are wondering what this is like, it tastes like one of the pizza dough mixes in the pouch at the store. The difference is that when you mix the pouch mixes they are normally really sticky, but this is not. Be sure to put some olive oil down on the pan before spreading out so it doesn't stick. No more pouch mixes for us, this is super duper easy and every bit as good.

Awesome and Easy Creamy Corn Casserole

Definitely easy, my 1 yr old could not get enough of this stuff! Made as directed, but did bake a little bit longer, maybe b/c I used a round 2 1/2 qt pan? Good stuff. Hubby said he would eat it again.

Fluffy Pancakes

Jan's Chocolate Cake

Made as directed. I thought this was moist but wasn't as chocolatey as I hoped it would be. I used Hershey's cocoa - which I thought was good quality (not an off brand), so maybe more cocoa or adding chocolate chips would help? Liked baking a cake from scratch though and using up some buttermilk.

Slow Cooker Creamed Corn

This was okay, but did not knock anyone's socks off. I had really high hopes after reading the reviews and was a little disappointed. I should have added a little more sugar, I think it would be better if it was a little sweeter. I like how easy it is!

Slow-Cooked White Chili

I love making soups b/c they are so versatile and you can experiment and add this and that. I usually don't set out to tweak a recipe, but made a lot of tweaks with this one and we were happy w/the results. Added some taco seasoning in addition to the cumin called for, added some salsa, used black beans and red kidney beans (all I had). Yum!

S'mores Bars

These were sooo yummy! Easy way to dress up brownies, and very quick to make. Will definitely make these again. Good with or without the peanuts (used unsalted dry roasted peanuts). Did not use quite as many chocolate chips as called for, just eyeballed the amount.

Whole Wheat Pumpkin-Applesauce Muffins

I used a little less white sugar since I had sweetened applesauce but otherwise followed the recipe. These were great! Love good recipes for whole wheat flour!

Jalapeno Popper Spread
