Everything I can try, except that I haven't quite mastered the perfect pie crust!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Kolacky at Christmas time and the Thanksgiving Turkey. I also make the best kugelas in our family, I am also the only one who makes them. I also love to cook German and Bohemian food. Sauerbraten and Kraut! YUMO!
My cooking triumphs
Great Holiday dinners are my triumphs. I love to cook for Thanksgiving. That delicious turkey is my favorite meal of the year. Plus I make a perfect gravy! That I have mastered!!!!
I also cater great meals. Mostly for our church, I have never done it on a completely professional level, but I am preparing for an upcoming wedding that I am catering as a favor for friends.
My cooking tragedies
The most recent was not giving enough time for the filet roast to thaw for Christmas dinner. When we usually eat at 3, we were not eating until after 6 this year.
