Cabbage Kielbasa Supper
My husband & I really enjoyed this recipe. I added some staple ingredients to this German dish; dried thyme, parsley, caraway seed, bay leaf & black pepper. Also, I threw in some minced garlic & chives, and kept the potatoes. Yum, Yum... Tasted very authentic! Thx for sharing :)

Smoked Sausage and Red Beans
This turned out to be a "repeat" in my recipes. My whole family loved it, including my teenage son. We didn't have enough room for desert though. When preparing this meal, I overlooked where Syndi stated using a 6 qt. or larger crockpot. My 5.5 qt. fit about half, once I tried to put it all in. So I would divide everything in halves if you don't have a XXL crock pot...Also, I was skeptical about adding uncooked rice, however it turned out fantastic! Make sure to do as the directions say, and stir once everything has had a chance to heat up. My compliments to Syndi.

Tangy Bean Soup
I used this recipe for our Sunday dinner. My whole family enjoyed it, including teenagers! I used Jiffy cornbread mix (as directed on box)w/cheddar cheese, in lieu of the dumplings. The cornbread was somewhat soggy on the bottom, however no one seemed to mind. Also, I added some cajun seasoning to spice it up a notch & used half the amount of dried cilantro instead of fresh. I will definately be adding this recipe to our menu! Next time I'll probably make some white rice to go with it... Thanks
