Erica's Delicious Slow Cooker Beef Roast
This makes a great roast! My first time doing a slow cooker roast and it was indeed very tender. I think 7 hours would have been just about right, but we cooked it for 8. I added more herbs, like marjoram, bay leaves and Montreal Steak seasoning. The only reason this isn't a 5 star recipe is that my husband thought the mushroom soup flavor sort of took away from the beef, so he doesn't really want to do it again. I, however, loved it!

Mexican Soup
Yum! Such simple ingredients yet very flavorful. I'm happy to find a low-fat, savory soup. Thanks!

Apple Hermits
Yummy! I was happy to find a recipe to help me use up some apples and raisins without oats (I ran out.) I didn't have nuts to use, but I will use them next time. They still were great without the nuts. I think I may cut 1/2 cup of sugar next time, too, because they were quite sweet. I didn't make the icing for that reason. I used 1/2 whole wheat flour, too. Thanks for a good recipe!
