Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Wonderful as is, but I did add 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract and 1/2 tsp. cinnamon. Perfect pancakes! Box mixes cannot compare.

Slow Cooker Maple Country Style Ribs

Mild flavoring but nice..it didn't over-power the pork flavor. Something different than the usual pork in barbecue sauce. It didn't create a sauce that was thick that clings to the meat like BBQ sauce, which I was actually hoping for. But..it was o.k.

Corn Fritters Canadian Style

Easy and tasty. The family liked these with a bit of butter maple syrup on top, like a pancake. I liked mine with just butter and a bit of salt and pepper.

Broccoli Chicken Casserole I

Made with light sour cream instead of mayo and drizzled the bread crumbs with 2T. butter. No changes otherwise but I did serve it over chicken rice a roni. Family loved it. Thx.

Made two batches...melted the butter for the second batch and I found it much easier to stir together. Awesome, fast, easy cleanup, soft and gooey yummy cookie!

I added cumin, extra garlic and roasted red peppers, all to taste and put the olive oil right in the food processor while I was making it. The cumin gave it a nice southwest or mexican flavor. Really good with some corn chip scoops!

KELLOGG'S* RICE KRISPIES* Peanut Butter and Jam Buddy Squares

Really yummy! Excellent variation from the usual crispy treats. I always add a splash of milk to my marshmallow mixture after it's melted...it assures that the treats will stay soft. This will be one to make over and over!

Butternut Squash Fries

Very good. I just kept it simple and put the cut up squash in a large zip bag, drizzled some EVOO, some cinammon sugar, nutmeg...laid out on a liberally sprayed cookie sheet, and salted. Turned a couple times while cooking. They stayed a little soft, but that didn't matter to me. They were very tasty! Something different!

Grilled Sausage with Potatoes and Green Beans

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2008
wow..my family gobbled this up like mad! I followed other reviewer's suggestions and used oregano and garlic powder and omitted the veg. oil, and used EVOO instead, no butter. I'm thinking that it would be fine with no changes. It's one of those recipes that doesn't sound like a big deal but man..it's amazing!!
