Smokin' Scovilles Turkey Chili
I made a vegetarian version of this recipe and it was fantastic. I cooked it for my FIL, who doesn't like spicy food, so I omitted the habanero, red pepper flakes and hot pepper sauce. Substituted two 300g packages of veggie mince for the turkey and pinto beans for the kidney beans. Used red pepper instead of the green pepper, and substituted smoked paprika for regular paprika as I couldn't find liquid smoke. Used regular tomatoes (undrained) as couldn't buy ones with green chilies and doubled the amount of corn. The best chili I've ever made or eaten! Thanks for the recipe.
