Just discovered the joys of cooking, i don't think i'm so good at it as yet, but i'd like to see if i can try something new once a week or so. Around christmas time that's when my cooking talent juices start flowing. It's just THAT time of year. A different cake for every birthday we celebrate. we have 11 in my family (huge i know!) so that's alot of cakes every year... so far we've tried lemon, banana, orange and date, walnut and apple, carrot, ginger... actually i've lost count. we've even had a mayonnaise cake and a courgette and carrot cake.. te he none as yet because i've just started although i've had a few tragedies as u'll see below a cake that tasted more like a sweet omelette... blurgh. i put too many eggs in and totally forgot the butter. it was a french cake and a little too complicated for my beginner's talent methinks
