Spicy Indian Chicken and Mango Curry

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2007
It was the best curry ever! Somewhere between korma and tikka masala. Creamy but spicy. But I do have one advice for anyone who is interested, DO NOT BE AFRAID TO ADD MORE SPICES!! I have made my own curry powder and I have marinaded chicken over night prior to cooking. Here is my curry powder recipe, two servings, ENJOY!!! 3tsp Cilantro/Coriander powder 4tsp Cumin 1/2tsp Very hot chilli powder 1/2tsp Chopped ginger 1/2tsp Chopped garlic 1tsp Garlic powder 2tsp Sugar 2tsp Mixed spice (Nutmeg, Cinnamon, Ginger, Cloves, Dill seeds, Coriander) 1tsp Turmeric 2tsp Paprika powder

Cream Cheese Pound Cake III

Reviewed: May 3, 2007
OOoh very nice! Just trying to clear up the egg and cream cheesecake as it was just about to start rotting. I only had two eggs, so I had to reduce the recipe for two eggs worth. I "spilt" vanilla extract a bit too much but it was not much of a problem. I cooked mine in a cake tin, for the temp and time it calls for. Spot on! Thanks for the recipe.

Cinnamon Rolls III

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2007
Never had cinnabons, (Im english!) but these were nice. So much better than other recipe "Clone of cinnabons". I halved the measurements, made exactly as it says however, dough was so sticky, couldnt roll it out exactly, and overall I prefer not so obviously home-baked bread, it has a very thick, hard-ish crust! Nothing special but I am addicted.

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2007
I have followed the review as I was not using the bread machine and reduced the yeast. It did not rise enough, it was like eating a toasted dough. so STICK TO THE ORIGINAL RECIPE even if you are not using a bread machine. I will be trying again. I recommend mixing butter and cinnamon mixture then spread on the dough, instead of butter first and sprinkling the cinnamon sugar. Less messy, and it gets rolled inside the dough without losing half of them!

Sweet Maple Pork Chops

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2007
Compared to how lovely this recipe sounds, I was a little dissappointed. It was interesting, but too sweet for my liking. Sweetness of maple syrup together with cream was a little sickening. The oat coating was lovely, shame you put it in the sauce only to lose the yum roasted crispness. I might try it again, seperate the sauce and pork, use it as a dipping sauce.
