My favorite things to cook
I love veggie dishes (grilled or sauteed usually) on wraps (especially on oven warmed naan) or with rice dishes. I like to make large pots of home made hearty soups which are really easy to heat up later (great for student life!) I love trying new things.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mother taught me how to make delicious stir frys and how to balance meals. She taught me how to be efficient in the kitchen. My father loves the barbeque and i learned how to make delicious kebobs and grilled veggies from him.
My cooking triumphs
Layali Libnan (making my own distillery for the rose water and everything made from scratch.. really fun to make and soooo delicious:) i was very proud of this dish!
My cooking tragedies
"Floor Pie" My sister and I made a cherry cheese cake.. but i broke the delicate graham crust.. and when we went to put it into the fridge to set it slid right off the tray into the floor. Thankfully i had just cleaned the floor earlier that day and the pie was still so delicious we ate it off the floor anyway.
